Hidden Creek Preserve
The Hidden Creek Preserve represents a culmination of the work of, Roberta Shoemaker-Beal, as an eco-art therapist.
She shares, "That is, when certain art therapists choose to create Retreat Centers somewhere in a supportive natural setting, we often build an Art Barn, for a supportive Earth-Aware Community, that strives to create a wellness center for a life worth-living."
Roberta explains, that this tri-pod of support for eco-art therapy retreat center is based on a recognition that our “only living planet” is in a major crisis. That many are experiencing “eco-angst,” a term that came to her in meditation in the 1970’s, when she realized she could not pass on an un-spoiled Earth home, as her parents had passed to her.
Creatas Center invites anyone to join in as they co-create on the Hidden Creek Preserve of 25 acres, with a river running through it, when there is no drought.
